Whoops, its been a while since my last blog, I had actually completely forgotten about it and stumbled upon it tonight whilst writing a book review on another post, wow where has the year gone. Its not been one of the best I would have to admit, but I'm still alive so cannot complain too much.
Onward and upward to the year 2012, hoping for 'better thing' to come of this one, knowing my luck the predicted 'end of the world' will probably happen just as I start to get my new life on track, oh well gotta suck it and see and enjoy the ride.
Well its the eve of Christmas eve, (the night before if that makes sense) and my whole house, literally the whole house is dusty, we are mid having an extension put on and at the sanding stage and oh boy it is messy. I now have complete and utter sympathy for one of my best friends who has been doing up her home for a little while now, "How do you cope?" I have wiped the surfaces more times that I would like to admit and its STILL dusty!!!! My dear hubby has worked day and night, (4am bed time for him this morning) to try and deliver me this Christmas present before the big day, he only started a week ago so is going pretty strong but I feel for him as he is exhausted and doing it all for me !
*feeling thoroughly spoilt yet a little bad as the expected completion time is 24 hours away*
Currently he is having a break, well I say a break, he is out Christmas food shopping with my mother! Not sure how that's is going but I'm sure they will be getting on like a house of fire, especially as she rang to say could he drive as she has had a 'few' to drink, O to be a fly on the wall, he he!
Any whoo, I'm actually meant to be wrapping the remaining prezzies but instead I'm sat on me bum talking to you, so I think its time to wish you all a merry Christmas what ever you may be doing and a very happppy New Year!!!
